THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THE NEW CREATION
Beloved friends, this is your friend Pastor Amara Uwaeziozi. I bring you special greetings in this season; and I’m particularly happy to meet you again. In the next two weeks we shall be considering The Work of The HOLY SPIRIT in The New Creation.
THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THE NEW CREATION
PRAYER
Let us pray. Heavenly Father The Father of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, we pray YOU to reveal to us the work of The HOLY SPIRIT in The New Creation…in JESUS Mighty Name. Amen!
The great privilege prophesied of The Gospel Age which will make The New Testament Church more glorious than that of the Old was the wonderful pouring out of the promised HOLY SPIRIT on all Believers that – you know the Bible says that “the glory of the later house shall be better than the former.” This was, as it were, the good wine which was kept to the last. The glory of the New Testament is compared to the good wine which was kept to the last.
We shall be reading some of these prophetic passages in the Bible. Today we are taking this more as a study. Turn with me to Isaiah 35. I will read from verse 7.
Isaiah 35:7
The parched ground shall become a pool,
And the thirsty land springs of water;
In the habitation of jackals, where each lay,
There shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
This prophetic message is so that there will be a change of events. There will be a complete change of events.
In Isaiah 44:3…again I read:
Isaiah 44:3-4
3 For I will pour water on him who is thirsty,
And floods on the dry ground;
I will pour My Spirit on your descendants,
And My blessing on your offspring.
Note the word “pour”. In the Old Testament The Spirit came just on a few people on whom GOD chose to live in or do special things for. But in the New Testament, there is the outpouring of The HOLY SPIRIT – the outpouring. That marks a change: the outpouring of the HOLY SPIRIT.
Here we read,
Isaiah 44:3-4
3 For I will pour water on him who is thirsty,
And floods on the dry ground;
I will pour My Spirit on your descendants,
And My blessing on your offspring.
One remarkable mark of The New Testament is the outpouring: the pouring out of The HOLY SPIRIT to the people of GOD.
Again in Joel 2:28, Joel The Book of Joel 2:28. I want to read again, this prophetic words concerning what the prophet said concerning The New Testament.
Joel 2:28
28 “And it shall come to pass afterward
That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your old men shall dream dreams,
Your young men shall see visions.
Notice again the word “pour” – because we are looking at the work of The HOLY SPIRIT in The New Creation. The New Creation is marked by the outpouring of the HOLY SPIRIT. The pouring out of the HOLY SPIRIT – that means many many more people with benefits on the pouring out of the HOLY SPIRIT.
I do not know if you have benefited from this. Have you benefited from this massive pouring out of the HOLY SPIRIT that is marking this age? Have you benefited from it? If you have not, this is a season for you; this is an opportunity for you to position yourself and be able to benefit from the HOLY SPIRIT which the Father poured out to HIS people.
Ezekiel 11:19. The Book of Ezekiel 11:19. Let me read again:
Ezekiel 11:19
19 Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh.
That’s the promise of GOD. This age will mark a new heart.
19 Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh.
For what purpose?
20 that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God.
Beloveth, have you benefited from this? Can you be called a people of GOD – a person of GOD? Do you belong to the people of GOD who have received a new heart, a new spirit? Have you benefitted from the pouring out of The Spirit of GOD?
Ezekiel 36:27
27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.
That is what will mark The New Creation. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.
The ministry of The Gospel by which we are born again is called The Ministry of The Spirit. This is clearly specified in 2nd Corinthians chapter 3:7-8
I want to read from that portion so that you will clearly hear what the Bible is saying.
2 Corinthians 3:7-8
7 But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away, 8 how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious?
Do you hear that?
9 For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.
Apostle Paul calls The Old Testament The Ministry of Death or The Ministry of Condemnation; whereas in The New Testament it is called The Ministry of The Spirit or The Ministry of Righteousness. We also note that the promise of The HOLY SPIRIT under the gospel is to all Believers and not just to a special few. The promise of the HOLY SPIRIT is to all Believers, not just to a special few as was the case in the Old Testament.
Romans chapter 8 verse 9. Whenever we made a statement we corroborate it with the scriptures: we confirm it in the scripture.
Romans 8:9
9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His
That emphasis is there in the scriptures: if you do not have the Spirit of CHRIST you are not HIS – you are not HIS.
10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
You hear that?
John 14:16. The Book of John 14:16,
16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17
the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
Beloveth, this is the mark of the new creation: The HOLY SPIRIT – the Spirit which the world does not know.
In Matthew 28:20…let me read Matthew 28:20, hear what the Bible says again concerning the new creation and the work of the HOLY SPIRIT.
Matthew 28:18-20
20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Starting from verse 18 of that passage, JESUS said,
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” [d]Amen.
The mark of The New Creation
The work of The HOLY SPIRIT is to enable us teach what GOD has commanded. And as we teach and people observe what is taught: and they become HIS disciples. We are taught to pray that GOD will give us HIS HOLY SPIRIT, so that with HIS help we may live to GOD in holiness, in obedience, as required. We live to GOD in holiness and obedience.
The HOLY SPIRIT was solemnly promise by our LORD JESUS CHRIST when HE was about to leave the world. We see that in some of the passages we read.
We can conclude that The HOLY SPIRIT is promised and given as the only cause of all the good that is in this world we partake of – all the good GOD has promised us in this world which we are partakers of. There is no good thing that we will receive from GOD – but it is brought to us and wrought in us by The HOLY SPIRIT; nor is there in us any good towards GOD: any faith, any obedience, any love to HIS will which we do without being enabled by The HOLY SPIRIT. There is in us, in our flesh, no good thing, as Apostle Paul tells us. There is no good thing in us; it is all by The Power of The HOLY SPIRIT.
You can only obey GOD; you can only live in righteousness; you can only fulfill the desire of GOD and the design of your Life by the HOLY SPIRIT. This is the work of The HOLY SPIRIT in The New Creation.
Beloved friends, why will you not reposition yourself to benefit from the outpouring of the HOLY SPIRIT in this new age so that you can live for HIM.
May The LORD help you to do so; may The LORD take away the veil over your eyes and your understanding to enable you understand that this is the time of the HOLY SPIRIT, and HE has already been given by our LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Receive HIM and join The New Creation of our LORD JESUS CHRIST.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father the Father of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, YOU have poured out YOUR Spirit upon all flesh. Quite many that are dead and alive have benefited from this outpouring. But those of us who are alive now, may YOU please help us to reposition ourselves so that The SPIRIT will come upon us, and we will fulfill YOUR desire and YOUR design for the age we are living in…in JESUS Mighty Name I pray. Amen.
